ball mill for copper ore

First the copper ore crusher is blasted, loaded and transported to the primary copper ore crushers. Then the ore is crushed and screened, with the fine sulfide ore (~-0.5 mm) going to froth flotation cells for recovery of copper.
In the primary copper ore crusher, the ore is broken into smaller pieces of less than 25 centimetres in diameter. Crushed ore is then loaded on to a conveyor belt which takes it to the storage bin. In the storage bin, ball mills and other grinding machine grind the ore until it is a fine powder. During the crushing process, SBM has improved the capacity and end crushing products with our secondary copper ore crusher and tertiary copper ore crusher. The total energy consumption is reduced considerably.
Comparing the operation efficiency of CS cone copper ore crusher and hydraulic cone copper ore crusher, we find CS cone crusher achieved better results in tertiary crushing. And if installing the same number of secondary and tertiary copper ore crushers, a part of operation is transmitted from tertiary to secondary crushers where the liner wear is three times less, which significantly influences on the cost reduction in the crushing process.

Usually we extract raw materials (limestone, shale, silica and pyrite) by blasting or by using cut-off equipment. Raw materials are sent to the crusher to be crushed or hammered into fragments. Usually primary cement crushing is jaw crusher while cone crusher and impact crusher works as secondary crusher. How to install ball mill ?

Host-axis should be the level and the ends of the hollow shaft should in the same height, but it is allowed that the feed-side higher than the discharge end about 1mm. The gap surrounding the hollow shaft should be basically the same as surrounding the bearing gland.

After the host installation, the installation of transmission part can begin. Firstly, you should check the assembly of the ball mill transmission part, mainly examine whether the pinion shaft and the reducer of low-speed shaft is concentric.

Install and adjust the transmission part based on the host’s large gear, So that the width of the both sides of the pinion gear is the same as the large gear, gear tooth surface of the large gear are parallel to the pinion gear and gear backlash should be at least 0.25mm. From the size of the gear contacts traces to see, the length of contacts traces should be at least 60% of the length of the gear and the height of contacts traces should be at least 40% of the height of the gear.
